Just Played through and completed assignment ada for the first time earlyer 
At first i found it quite tough, but once id got past the first section, it seamed to ease up abit as there are no real threats to speak off, with the hardest enemy being the gattling gun zombie, but 3 headshots with the rifle puts him down easy.
Later there are afew of the big dudes with the spiky armor but again one rifle shot to the head is enough, or shoot them in the knees and finish them while they are on the ground 
Krowser is the last boss and is quite hard, make sure you have at least 4 first aid sprays/full herbs left, its best to use the TMP and shoot low at his feet, then just unload when hes stunned, also gotta be fast on the dodge buttons as he can kill with one hit!
you unlock the "american typewriter" for finishing the mission, its better than it sounds as it is an old machine gun kinda like a tommygun, its avalible to buy from the merchant in the main game.
