Ok, it came out last night (friday the 13th oooo) in America, has anyone seen it or got a copy theyve seen?
This is the main film of the year for me and uk release is still 2months away, ive seen all the trailers about a gazillion times, now must see the movie!
I know its directed by Paul thomas anderson, who did resident evil, which was quite good, but i didnt want to see the film go down the same route as that i.e. an above average film with ok acting and poor cgi.
Hes been given possably the best licence EVER here and i want to see it be used to perfection (though it wont be) from what ive seen of the film it looks like a cross between all the films genres but mostly looks on par to Aliens, which in my opinion, is a good thing.
As long as the (mostly) unknown cast perform well, and the direction is good, with as little cgi as possable, i think this will turn out to be something special, and fox has stated that the future of alien 5/ predator 3/ AVP2 rests on the shoulders of this film.
overall, i think the critics will slate it, public will love it, and the predator will kick the aliens ass, big time, unless theres an alternate ending in there............
